A friend sent this to me and said “there are a lot of parallels to cyber security” (which is a lot data science in itself), and he wasn’t wrong. Organizations are struggling to keep up with technology due to slow policy & procurement cycles while users are often better set up in our personal environments (laptops, labs, cloud accounts) than our archaic enterprise environments.
